                                                                                          Instructions (with hat)

1.  Place the clips onto the Barber’s Edge template.  Be sure that the “teeth” of the clip match that of the tracking system on the template.  You should hear the clips locking into place.  Push the clips into the lowest position.

    

2. Line up the center line of the Barber’s Edge template with the center back seam of the baseball cap.  Attach the template to the hat.  The top portion of the template should be inside the hat (touching your hair once it is on your head).

3. Place the baseball hat on your head as you normally wear it.  Before you start trimming, feel or ask someone (only for the first use)  if the cut line will be too high.  If so, adjust the clips to lower the Barber’s edge template.

4. Once you have the template attached to your desired height, put on your hat and start trimming.  For best results, be sure to pinch or hold the template close to your neck with your non-trimming hand.  Start trimming in the middle and work your way up the template.  Be sure that teeth of the razor is firmly against the template to ensure an even and accurate cut line.  Then switch hands and repeat the same process from the opposite side.  Be sure to look straight forward through the entire process so the line is even.

5. When you are done trimming both sides, remove your hat.  You now have the barber-fresh look!

    

                                                                              Instructions (with elastic head band)

1.  Place the clips onto the Barber’s Edge template.  Be sure that the “teeth” of the clip match that of the tracking system on the template.  You should hear the clips locking into place.  Push the clips into the lowest position.

2. Insert the head band into the clips.

3. Place the head band around your head.  Before you start trimming, feel or ask someone (only for the first use) if the cut line will be too high.  If so, adjust the clips to lower the Barber’s edge template or just raise the head band higher or lower to meet your desired height.

4. Once you have the template attached to your desired height, start trimming.  For best results, be sure to pinch or hold the template close to your neck with your non-trimming hand.  Start trimming in the middle and work your way up the template.  Be sure that teeth of the razor is firmly against the template to ensure an even and accurate cut line.  Then switch hands and repeat the same process from the opposite side.  Be sure to look straight forward through the entire process so the line is even.

5. When you are done trimming both sides, remove the head band.  You now have the barber-fresh look!

**To clean, remove The Barber’s Edge from the hat or head band and run under cool water.  Let dry  and store for the next use.
